Bonjour! I’m Sophie – a passionate French teacher from France with over 25 years of experience teaching French as a foreign language.
I’ve taught in various countries and multicultural settings – from Turkey to Mongolia, including Russia and Germany.
I love designing dynamic and culturally enriching lessons where my students feel safe, speak freely, and enjoy learning.
My teaching style is interactive, lively, and deeply human – because I believe that learning a language should be not only effective, but also inspiring and joyful.
I’ve worked in language schools, universities, training centres, and international schools. I’ve also been an educational consultant, leading teams of trainers, conducting class observations, and giving professional development workshops.
I speak German, lived in Germany for six years, taught in Luxembourg, and worked at the German Embassy School in Moscow as well as the German School in Ankara.
I’m positive, committed, and full of energy – and I accompany my learners with enthusiasm on their personal path to success.

Technology
I use the interactive platform Zoom and will send you the access link before each session.
All you need is a computer
and a quiet place.
Booking
All bookings are made online and are only valid once payment has been received.
The appointment is confirmed only after the payment has been processed.
Payment
You can pay easily and securely by bank transfer.
Your booking is only considered confirmed once the payment has been successfully processed.
The requested time slot will only be firmly reserved after payment.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
I know that sometimes life gets in the way. That’s why there are clear and fair rules for cancelling or rescheduling your booked lessons.
Cancellation

You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.

If cancelled on time, you will automatically receive a full refund.

Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance cannot be refunded.
Rescheduling / Changing your appointment

You can reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled lesson, depending on availability.

Please use the booking system to do so – you can simply select a new time slot there.
Late arrivals / No-shows

I will wait up to 15 minutes for the start of the online lesson.

If you do not show up within that time, the lesson is considered completed and will not be refunded.
Important
All cancellations and reschedulings must be made through the booking system.
This ensures that everything is handled automatically – quickly, securely, and without unnecessary emails.
